Now if you want to do something specific like be in a management or vet position well then obviously you would need those degrees. My father is actually head of Animal Control for the City of Elmira and they are hiring right now if you are close by. You need to take a civil service test as it is a government position. As I said though you don't need a degree to be a aspca officer in NY, partly because it is a low paying job most of the time. Good luck.
