My American Bulldog needs eye surgery are there any charities out there that can help with cost?

My American Bulldog that my ex fiance bought for my son as a gift has inverted eyelashes and will need surgery when she is 1 years old. She is an amazing dog and I love her to pieces but the surgery is going to be around 0 dollars and if she doesn’t get it done it can scratch her eyes and can eventually go blind. Does anyone know of any charities or places that would help with some or all of the cost that’s in southern California?

Here’s a state by state list of possible help

charities like that only help more severe cases, like dogs w/ heart worms or that are severely ill. dogs w/ amputations or that need transplants. i would recommend saving the money. && if you cant maybe you will just have to give the dog to a family that can afford to take care of her. it wouldn’t be fair to the dog to keep her if she has to suffer.
you should search for a low cost clinic in your area. you can also search on petfinder.com for rescues that offer low cost vet care.
if you really like your vet and have a good relationship, you can ask if they will allow you to make payments on the procedure.
I must say tho, $600 sounds like a pretty good bargain. I would encourage you to open a savings account for future animal expenses.
There are places like that, but they are rescues. You would have to surrender the dog, and they may take care of the surgery.
I don’t think, especially in this economy that there is anyone who will pay for YOUR dogs surgery.
Try CareCredit.com, and try having a yard sale fundraiser to raise money, or ask the Vet if he’ll take payments.
