I crochet primi, childrens & adult hats, scarves & mittens for charity. Is there another senior women who would like to exchange ideas & offer help?

I crochet for the residents in the nursing home where I work. Someone is always donating yarn thinking the ladies will have something to do, but none of them want to or are able. So I make lap robes for them.
Yes, you may email me with details.
Could be. I sent you an email to find out more.
Sounds like a neat thing to be doing.
Sorry, but I do not have that talent. Wish
I did. Go for it.
Sounds like a very good idea!
This isn’t my talent (I did Lutheran quilting) but another project not mentioned here is about helmet liners for the soldiers. Also I was just thinking about a project that I saw at a Mormon women’s meeting. I used to drive my neighbor evey month as she didn’t drive and hung around for the meeting. The gals were wonderful and so totally talented they boggled my mind. One time one of the women was showing us how to make plastic swim bags from those plastic store bags. Just cut one in one long strip, like peeling and apple then I wish I could recall knit or crochet it into a rectangle and then close the sides. They were great for putting wet swim suits in. I always thought that a person could make those into those slippers everyone knit at one time that you sewed together at the back? I was talking to a gal at the Gospel mission and she said they would make great shower slippers for her clients.
I knit primi, newborn, and cancer pt. hats for my local hospital on a loom called a knit around. I am returning from a 4 mo. R.V. trip around the U. S. and Canada and I didn’t get nearly as many hats finished as I had planned..my bad..
