I am in the process of organizing a Christian Youth Conference. As of right now we have a {content} budget and the cost of attending the conference is still not enough to cover all expenses. We are not registered as a non-profit organization, so would it be legal if we collected donations (both online and offline) if the "donate-rs" knew that 1. Their donations are NOT tax exempt. and 2. Exactly what their donations are to be used for? Please respond quickly as I am running out of initial planning time! Thanks!
