I need help and support as i want to raise money and hopefully set up a charity to help the elderly people in my local area.

I will be in India (Khar,Mumbai) this summer and really wanted to volunteer there. All the online programs charge large fees as they cover transportation,housing etc. Since I will be living there, I need none of this. I just need some volunteer organization that i can volunteer at and that can give me something to validate how many ever hours I do. Know of any organizations?
