The Choose A Charity.net Foundation Inc. was established in April of 2007, by its founder, Lisa Howard. Born and raised in New York, the sixth of seven children, Lisa had what most people would consider a typical childhood. The Howard kids never went to bed hungry, and each had a warm bed to sleep in. For most people, these basic necessities are taken for granted.  Many could not imagine life without them. However, the harsh reality is there are an astonishing number of children and their families, right here in the United States, who would consider these basic necessities a luxury.

So much effort and attention, albeit justified, is on the global hunger crisis. However, our Foundation’s mission is to focus our efforts on children and their families in the United States and right here in our won backyards. The Choose A Charity.net Foundation dedicates fundraising efforts to Truck Sponsorship through Feed the Children and other child-related programs. Through these programs we provide the youth of today, our leaders of tomorrow, with the basic necessities.
